St Johnstone manager Steve Lomas faces further sanctions after being called before a SFA disciplinary hearing for kicking a water bottle.
Lomas is currently serving an eight-match touchline ban.
Lomas was handed his current suspension after being sent to the stands during his side's 1-1 draw with Celtic in October and the sanction - a six-match ban, plus the activation of a suspended two-game ban - was imposed last Thursday, a day after he was dismissed against Hibernian.
It is his actions against Hibs which will be under scrutiny after an alleged breach of disciplinary rule 203, specifically "misconduct at a match by failing to behave in a responsible manner as an occupant of the technical area by kicking a water bottle carrier causing water bottles to land in the stand."
The former Northern Ireland midfielder has until Wednesday, December 12, to respond to the notice of complaint, the SFA said in its statement.
A principal hearing day has been scheduled for December 20 to discuss the latest alleged breach.
Lomas was sent to the stand at McDiarmid Park last Wednesday night by referee Craig Thomson, shortly after Nigel Hasselbaink missed a penalty and before Hibs netted a later winner.
"I kicked a water bottle," Lomas explained after the 1-0 defeat.
"It was frustration. I said to the fourth official he could've used a bit of common-sense."
Lomas will watch from the stands when the Perth side travel to St Mirren on Saturday after last weekend's William Hill Scottish Cup fourth-round match with Cowdenbeath was postponed.
St Johnstone are now scheduled to play at Central Park on Monday.
