Russian outfit Lokomotiv Moscow are planning a new move for Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko at the end of the season.

Pavlyuchenko, who has been back in favour at White Hart Lane in recent weeks, was strongly linked with a move back to Russia during January.

However Spurs boss Harry Redknapp decided to keep hold of Pavlyuchenko and instead allowed Robbie Keane to leave for Celtic on loan.

Lokomotiv remain on Pavlyuchenko's trail and are confident of their finally landing their man after a long pursuit, with president Nikolay Naumov claiming his side are the only club the striker will return to Russia for.

"We have spoken to Roman about this. He still wants to return to Russia and if he does return, he will only come to our team," Naumov told the Daily Mail.

Pavlyuchenko has scored six goals in his last four games and looks set to play a big role in Tottenham's bid to finish in the top four.
