Lewandowski reveals he is fully charged for his first season with Bayern
MUNICH Poland striker Robert Lewandowski says his "batteries are full" and that he's looking forward to improving as a player at Bayern Munich.
Lewandowski, who joined the Bundesliga champion on a free transfer from league rival Borussia Dortmund, says at his presentation that his new club is "the yardstick, the club where I can win many titles."
Lewandowski scored 74 goals and set up 31 more in 131 Bundesliga games for Dortmund since joining from Polish side Lech Poznan in 2010.
He helped Dortmund claim the Bundesliga in his first two seasons at the club, as well as the German Cup in his second, though the side finished runner-up to Bayern the past two seasons.
Lewandowski, whose contract expired in the summer, signed a five-year-deal with Bayern in January.
