Ledley: Hoops not looking ahead

Midfielder Joe Ledley insists there will be no slacking when Celtic face Dundee United three days before their return game against Barcelona.

Celtic lost 2-0 at home to Kilmarnock days after coming within seconds of taking a Champions League point in the Nou Camp.

But they bounced back in style on Tuesday with a 5-0 victory over St Johnstone in the Scottish Communities League Cup quarter-finals.

And Ledley is sure they will not be thinking ahead to the visit of the Catalan giants when they face United on SPL duty on Sunday.

"It's always a good atmosphere at Tannadice and we always get a good game there," Ledley told the Celtic View.

"The fans are close to the pitch and it's always pretty difficult so I enjoy the occasion of going there.

"We lost there last season so it just shows it's no easy place to go. They haven't been doing too well this year so they will be desperate to get some points.

"It's one we're looking forward to and we'll have to make sure we keep up our recent form.

"We've gone from the Champions League, to the SPL, to the League Cup, and each one is really different.

"But we've done this before. We had the same thing last year when we played in the Europa League and we managed to adapt well.

"We treat every game the same and give 100 per cent and we'll be doing the same on Sunday."
