Aleksandrs Cauna scored from a second-half free kick to give Latvia a 1-0 victory over Georgia in their Euro 2012 qualifier in Group F on Friday.
Cauna let fly in the 64th minute from 26 meters on the right and although Georgia goalkeeper Giorgi Loria managed to get a touch, it was not enough to keep the ball out.
Georgia dominated the game and was left to rue several missed chances in the first half.
Neither team can qualify for next year's finals. Georgia has nine points and Latvia has seven in a group led by Greece on 17.
