Latvia and Georgia draw 1-1
Alexandrs Cauna scored a super equalizer in injury time to earn Latvia a 1-1 draw with Georgia in their European Championship qualifying match on Tuesday.
Cauna's acrobatic volley from 20 yards (meters) out flew into the top left corner of the net, leaving Georgia's goalkeeper Nukri Revishvili with no chance.
His goal canceled out David Siradze's 75th-minute opener for Georgia, which came after Latvia's goalkeeper Andris Vanins had saved a free kick.
Georgia's David Kverklevia had a goal ruled out for offside in a scoreless first half.
Latvia's attacking threat, meanwhile, suffered from the absence of leading scorer Maris Verpakovskis.
The draw gives undefeated Georgia six points in Group F after four qualifying matches, while Latvia has four points.
