Late penalty gives Freiburg road win
Papiss Demba Cisse's penalty in stoppage time gave Freiburg their first away victory of the season by beating Nurnberg 2-1.
Mike Frantz gave Nurnberg the lead after 32 minutes but Jan Rosenthal equalized in the 34th minute and Cisse snatched a dramatic winner at the death.
Freiburg nearly took the lead after 14 minutes but Cedrick Makiadi's blast sailed just wide of the far post.
The hosts were close six minutes later but Tomas Pekhart shot wide from five yards out.
Nurnberg pulled ahead after 32 minutes as Alexander Esswein passed to Pekhart for a shot from 16 yards which Frantz redirected with a header.
Freiburg equalised just two minutes later with Rosenthal's shot bouncing over Nurnberg goalkeeper Rafael Schafer and in.
Schafer was substituted through an injury at half-time and replaced by Alexander Stephan.
Nurnberg appeared to have reclaimed the lead in the 69th minute as Oliver Barth deflected Esswein's shot into his own goal, but it was disallowed as Pekhart was ruled offside.
Cisse nearly gave Freiburg the lead after 76 minutes but his attempt from six yards out went just wide right.
Cisse had another chance three minutes into stoppage time from the spot after Stephan had taken down Rosenthal in the area.
The Senegal international blasted his spot-kick into the lower left corner for the winner.
