Miralem Sulejmani's 10th-minute goal looked to have given Ajax a win in the most-anticipated fixture of the season so far - a result that would have seen them leapfrog the Enschede side and hit the summit. But De Jong had other ideas, heading in a Peter Wisgerhof cross to net a point for his side. Fifth-placed PSV Eindhoven moved within two points of top spot by putting 10-man Roda JC to the sword in a 7-1 rout at Philips Stadion. Dries Mertens was Roda's tormentor-in-chief with four goals, while Ola Toivonen, Kevin Strootman and Tim Matavz were also on target in a hopelessly one-sided affair. Roda never recovered from the 19th-minute dismissal of Jagos Vukovic with the score at 1-0, and Sanharib Malki's 55th-minute reply came as scant consolation. Kees Luyckx scored a last-gasp winner as NAC Breda beat 10-man FC Utrecht to record their second league win of the season. Visitors Utrecht lost Michael Zullo to a second yellow card just before the break but, despite playing over half the match with a man less, they looked set to escape with a point before Luyckx popped up in stoppage time. Goals by Oussama Assaidi and Samuel Armenteros ensured the game between Heerenveen and Heracles ended in a 1-1 draw with both sides in mid-table. ADO Den Haag released the pressure after their poor start to the season with a comfortable 2-0 win over VVV Venlo. First-half strikes by John Verhoek and Gabor Horvath gave the home side a comfortable lead which VVV never looked likely to overturn.
