Santos beat Criciuma 2-1 thanks to first-half goals from Thiago Ribeiro and Willian Jose, with Ewerton Tony's 79th minute score for Criciuma scant consolation.

Atletico Mineiro beat Vasco da Gama 2-1 after Fernandinho and Ronaldinho put the hosts 2-0 up within 20 minutes before Dakson pulled one back for the visitors in the 72nd minute.
