Lambert hints at January moves
The Canaries have defied the odds in the opening 10 games of the new Premier League season and currently sit eighth after losing just one of their last six league games. However, Lambert told Norwich Evening News: "January has been spoken about; we might need a hand - it can give you a lift. We made a decision at the start that we would bring in lads we roughly knew, until we got a foothold and then see what happens." The 42-year-old also believes signing players from overseas could have an adverse affect and that any player would have to represent value for money. He said: "I needed lads who I knew and who knew the British game. It helps them get to know each other. If you're a foreign lad coming into a dressing room, I know from experience it can take you a little bit to get used to a different culture and a different way. "We have to try and be in and around it in January. If we can add to it then we will, but that's a lot easier said than done because you tend to find prices go sky high in January. But we need a hand."
