Kuranyi committed to Schalke
Schalke striker Kevin Kuranyi is not thinking about a move away
from the club and insists he "is committed heart and soul" to the
Royal Blues.
The 27-year-old, whose contract is up in the summer, has been
strongly linked with Barclays Premier League sides Sunderland and
Birmingham this month.
But, speaking from Schalke's winter training camp in Chiclana
de la Frontera, Spain, he revealed he is not concerned with the
speculation over his future.
"I try not to get involved in it too much," Kuranyi said in a
video interview on www.schalke04.de.
"I want to have success with Schalke. We are in a very good
situation at the moment.
"I have already had success here for three-and-a-half years
and have also experienced difficult situations, but I feel good
here and I am of course committed heart and soul to Schalke."
Kuranyi, who is out of favour with Germany coach Joachim Low,
has scored eight times in the Bundesliga this term.
