Krul happy with Toon progress
The Dutch keeper, who was fundamental in helping Newcastle maintain their unbeaten start to the season, made a number of notable saves including a superb stop to deny Steven Fletcher. And Krul believes everything is finally coming together for Alan Pardew's team after working on their defensive tactics. Krul said: "We had already shown at the start of the season that we are solid. We've been working hard on the defensive side of our game, and it's paying off now. "Everybody knows who is doing what, and we've got the attack to go with our defence. "We knew it was going to be hard today, but what an effort the lads put in. "It's an amazing feeling. I'm just pleased to walk away with three points, and to be important to that is what you always want."
