Spurs have enjoyed a fine run since losing their opening two games of the season and are well-placed to secure a return to Europe's premier competition as they head into Christmas. Thursday's 1-1 draw with Chelsea kept Harry Redknapp's men ahead of the Blues, as well as Arsenal and Liverpool, in what is expected to be a tight battle for the remaining spots in the top four behind Manchester City and United. King, 31, said: "We'll definitely be disappointed if we don't finish in the top four from here. We are more than capable of that with the squad we've got. "Confidence is very high after the past three months. "We're going out on to the pitch every week believing we can beat everyone and our football is backing up that belief." King added: "Maybe the pressure is not on us as much as some of the other teams. "I think we've surprised a few with the 35 points we've got from our first 16 games. "We're enjoying ourselves but we've got to keep this going for another 22 games." King is confident Tottenham can maintain their current high level until the end of the campaign, having taken four points from tricky games against Sunderland and Chelsea over the past week. "I thought we looked tired in the second half against Chelsea," he said. "We had a tough game against Sunderland at the weekend and Chelsea are a very physical side. "Every team suffers injuries and setbacks but we have a strong squad with plenty of players who can do a good job. "It's very tight at the top but I'm confident we can keep going and produce the results."
