Kilbane: Tigers confidence is high
The Tigers have not won in six Premier League games but are encouraged by their performances in a defeat to Manchester United and 2-2 draw with Bolton over Christmas. Kilbane has not got off the bench in any of the last six matches but is now hoping for a chance with Phil Brown likely to rotate his squad at the DW Stadium on Saturday. The 32-year-old Republic of Ireland international, who left Wigan for Hull last January, said: "Confidence is high at the moment, everyone is training at a high level. Wigan is a good game for us. They started the season on fire in the first game at Villa, everything was looking good for them. "The 9-1 defeat against Tottenham probably set them back but they are a stable club, everything is run really well there and they've got some good players. "You want to play, of course you do, and it is disappointing when you are not. But you've just got to try to take your chance when it arises and hopefully it will come in the next few weeks."
