Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has won the Czech Republic's Golden Ball award for the best player of the 2012-13 season.
Cech topped the poll of sports journalists on Monday to win the award for the fourth consecutive year and eighth time overall.
Cech helped Chelsea win the Europa League trophy this season and secure a Champions League spot with a third-place finish in the English Premier League.
Cech says ''I have another successful season behind me. I won the Europa League and produced quality performances for the entire year.''

Sparta Prague striker David Lafata placed second and Viktoria Plzen midfielder Vladimir Darida was third.
