Real Madrid will be without playmaker Kaka for Saturday's Spanish
league match against Barcelona due to a persistent groin problem.
The Brazil midfielder has been out of action with the injury
for a month, last playing for Madrid in a Champions League match
against Lyon on March 10. Kaka, a €65 million (then $94
million) signing from AC Milan, previously injured his groin in a
1-0 loss at Barcelona in December.
Kaka has seven goals from 21 league appearances.
Madrid and Barcelona are even at the top of the Spanish
standings with 77 points each.
