Juventus winger Giaccherini sidelined for 3 weeks

Juventus says winger Emanuele Giaccherini will be out of action for three weeks with a thigh injury.

Giaccherini suffered the injury during Sunday's goalless draw against Chievo after coming on as a substitute in the 56th minute. He was replaced with 10 minutes to go.

Juventus said Tuesday that the 26-year-old is expected to be out of action ''for around 20 days''.

Giaccherini, who joined from Cesena in the summer transfer window and has made five Serie A appearances so far this season, will miss his side's games at home to Genoa and Fiorentina and away at Inter Milan and Napoli.
