Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo is reported to have accepted an offer to join Frank Lampard at New York City FC.
Pirlo is set to play for Juve in Saturday's Champions League final against Barcelona, and it had been suggested the 36-year-old would only consider leaving the Serie A giants if they are victorious in Berlin.
According to Spanish newspaper AS, however, Pirlo has already accepted a proposal from New York City having spoken to the club's chief executive, Ferran Soriano.

The new MLS club had attempted to sign Barcelona midfielder Xavi before he decided to join Qatari outfit Al Saad instead, but capturing Pirlo to play alongside Lampard and David Villa would represent arguably their biggest coup yet.
