Jol was reacting to media speculation he has had a bust-up with the England international after the 30-year-old did not travel with the Fulham squad for their match against Swansea on Saturday. Jol defended his decision to leave the player behind, with the Cottagers involved in two games in the next seven days. Jol said. "He is probably not the best substitute so I thought I'd wait for next week and the important games coming up. I don't have a problem with any players - I need them all."
