Johnson dismisses Cherries link
Yeovil boss Gary Johnson played down links with the vacant post at Bournemouth after his side's 3-1 win over Colchester.
A brace by debutant striker Paddy Madden and a James Hayter strike handed the Somerset side a deserved win - ending a barren run of six straight defeats in League One.
Johnson poured cold water on reports that he is among the front-runners for The Cherries job - insisting he remains "100 per cent focused" on Yeovil Town.
He said: "It's nothing to do with me - I've not asked and have not had any contact from Bournemouth. This is the focus and we need to get Yeovil competing at this level. My job is here and I'm loving it."
On the match, he added: "It was nice to get the result and the performance, and we had to be a little bit patient early on.
"I was proud of the players and they all worked their socks off. We worked very hard after the Portsmouth game - we have been in all day everyday since, and the boys still showed they had the legs in the final minutes. I can sleep well because we've worked very hard as a team and a management team."
