John Terry ruins the Running Man

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 6:31 p.m. ET

Former England captain John Terry is back at it again, and this time he's out to ruin the Running Man.

Just hours after Daniel Sturridge's late strike pushed England to a 2-1 victory against Wales, John and Toni Terry took to Instagram to celebrate. Standing on the diving platform of a beautiful yacht moored in the middle of an impossibly serene ocean, set against a postcard-worthy mountain, JT and TT can barely contain their glee as they wait for their cue to ruin another beloved favorite.

The official anthem of the Running Man Challenge, Ghost Town DJs "My Boo" kicks on, and the pair move into action.

With Toni watching expectantly, Terry first attempts a weird, hybrid pop-lock/Power Ranger introduction move, flourishing into a dab, before receiving a soccer ball to juggle and then no-look pass back onboard. He then further cements the death of the dab as the chorus kicks in and he and Toni shuffle awkwardly off the diving board, mercifully ending the video.

First it was R. Kelly's "I Believe I Can Fly," now it's "My Boo." Either JT has a strong appreciation for '90s RnB, or he's on a one-man mission to ruin everything we hold dear, one Instagram post at a time.
