Former CSKA Sofia coach Miodrag Jesic is returning to lead the team for a second time.
The 54-year-old Serb, who led the team from 2004-06, coached CSKA to a league title in 2005.
Jesic replaces Stoycho Mladenov, who was fired last week following CSKA's poor performances in the first half of the season.
CSKA has won the Bulgarian league 31 times and is fourth in the standings this season, nine points behind leader Ludogorets Razgrad.
