Jarvis hoping for Wolves recall
Jarvis has enjoyed a superb season for Wolves - his performances even won him an England debut against Ghana in March - but has started the last two games on the bench. However, the 24-year-old laid on a goal for Steve Fletcher in last weekend's 3-1 victory against Sunderland after being introduced at half-time and that could win him a recall for Sunday's final game of the season at Molineux. "Every player wants to be playing and we are all disappointed when we are not," said Jarvis in the Daily Mirror. "But when I get a chance to come on, it is a case of going on and trying to do what I can. "I was delighted to create the second goal for Fletch at the weekend, and that we managed to go on and get the right result." He added: "Myself and Fletch have managed to produce a few combinations over the season and he's been absolutely on fire over the last few weeks. "He's been scoring some very important goals for us and hopefully he'll come up trumps again on Sunday." Wolves' top-flight status for next season will be secured no matter what if they claim three points against Rovers, and Jarvis knows the stakes are high. "It should be a great game and what a way to finish the season - hopefully on a high for us," he added. "Now it is all in our own hands - if we get a win it doesn't matter what happens anywhere else."
