Rangers winger Barrie McKay has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after suffering a foot injury in the friendly against Linfield.

The 18-year-old was substituted after just 16 minutes against the Irish team after twisting his foot.

McKay will now see a specialist to assess the full extent of the injury, but he looks certain to miss the remainder of the Third Division campaign.

Anestis Argyriou also came off during Wednesday's match with an ankle problem but it is not thought to be anything serious.
