St Johnstone striker Steven MacLean will be out for a further six weeks following his dislocated elbow.

MacLean, who is under contract until the end of January, suffered the injury in the Scottish Premier League victory over Dundee on September 29 and missed Saturday's win over St Mirren.

The former Sheffield Wednesday striker had hoped to be back in three weeks, but the club confirmed the bad news after a visit to a consultant.
