Blackpool manager Paul Ince has admitted there is a difficult decision to be made over Tom Ince as he hopes to keep his best players at the club.

The England Under-21 winger has a year left on his contract at Bloomfield Road and the Seasiders also have an option to extend his deal for a further 12 months.

However, there has been Premier League interest in the player and Blackpool boss Ince would like his son to play at the highest level.

He plans to hold talks about the subject in the summer and hopes the situation will be resolved in a way that suits everyone.

"It's a hard one. You want to go forward and keep your best players," Paul Ince said in the Daily Express.

"At the same time, as a father, you have to understand he has the ability to play in the Premier League.

"It is about timing. We'll sit down at the end of the season and decide where to go.

"He has a year left and a year option on the club's behalf, so it's a tricky one."
