Hughton looking for signings
Norwich City boss Chris Hughton admits he is working hard to try and bolster his squad in the transfer window.
Hughton has already made one new addition for next season after agreeing a deal in March to sign Dutch striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel from Sporting Lisbon.
Van Wolfswinkel will join up with Norwich from the start of July and Hughton is excited at the prospect of working with the prolific forward.
"That is something that we have been looking forward to from the day we signed him and he is player that even though we had signed him and he had to complete his season at Sporting Lisbon, he still managed to score goals," Hughton told Sky Sports News.
"He is very excited by the prospect and we look forward to seeing him."
Hughton admits it is not easy trying to bring in new players which he feels will boost his squad due to competition for players in the Premier League.
He said: "It's our responsibility to try and work as hard as we can which is what we are trying to do.
"It is not always easy as there are 19 other teams in this division trying to do the same, but hopefully we are successful in some of the work we do.
"We are delighted how we finished and there's no doubt we have a good and competitive squad but if we can add to it then it will be beneficial to us."
