Howarth salutes Robins display
Assistant manager Neil Howarth described Cheltenham's 3-0 victory over Exeter as their best performance of the season so far.
A goal from debutant Lawson D'Ath and two for full-back Keith Lowe saw the Robins run away with it in the second half after a goalless opening 45 minutes.
Cheltenham's biggest win of the season so far lifted them back into the automatic promotion places ahead of next week's FA Cup first-round tie against minnows Yate Town.
"It's our best scoreline and probably our best performance too," Howarth said. "We've been consistent all season, but we've not quite hit the heights of last season performance-wise.
"But we are picking good results up so, after having to make five changes and only having six subs available, it's very pleasing.
"Lawson D'Ath scored on his debut, which was superb and the way we coped with some big players out was great too and it was a good day all-round for us. Lawson looked like he had a goal in him all game, he makes good runs and he has energy. It was a fantastic finish from him."
