Norwich became only the third team to beat Newcastle in the Premier League this season, winning 4-2 after a second-half double from captain Grant Holt at Carrow Road on Saturday.

Holt scored in the 60th and 82nd minutes to ensure Newcastle's winless run was extended to four matches, including losses to Manchester City and Chelsea.

Newcastle forward Demba Ba's first-half strike canceled out Wes Hoolahan's opener, before Holt powered home a header to make it 2-1.

Steve Morison's header made it 3-1 to the hosts in the 63rd and Newcastle's Dan Gosling was sent off for a dangerous two-footed challenge three minutes later. Holt then wrapped up the win.
