Timo Hildebrand's agent claims his client would welcome the chance to try his luck in England, with Fulham and Wigan reportedly interested.

The German keeper is currently available as a free agent after parting company with Hoffenheim at the end of last season.

He is keen to find new employment before the start of the 2010/11 campaign and has set his sights on a move to the Premier League.

SPL outfit Celtic were reported to have shown interest at one stage, but Hoops boss Neil Lennon has distanced himself from such talk.

Reports now suggest that Wigan and Fulham are keen on the Germany international, with both clubs looking to bolster their keeping ranks.

Hildebrand's representative admits the 31-year-old shot-stopper would be willing to discuss such a switch and is hopeful a deal can be struck.

"He is very keen to challenge himself in the English game," said Martin Stopper. "Hildebrand feels the time is right to play in the Premier League."

Hildebrand, who has seven international caps to his name, began his career with Stuttgart, making over 200 appearances for the club.

He moved on to Valencia in 2007, but lasted just 18 months in Spain before a lack of first-team action forced him to head home to Hoffenheim.
