Heskey: Future bright for Delfouneso
England coach Fabio Capello has said he will be putting the accent on younger players as he looks to rebuild after a disastrous World Cup campaign. And Heskey believes Aston Villa team-mate Delfouneso is an exciting prospect after graduating through the different age levels with his country. Delfouneso has already made an impact at Villa, scoring twice in the Europa League during the 2008-2009 campaign and netting his first Premier League goal last season. He has already represented England at Under-21 level and has netted nine times for the Under-19s. Heskey said: "Nathan has done really well. He has not had that many chances to come on and play but, when he has, he has shown what he is capable of. "He is a good player for the future. He got himself involved in the England set-up from an early age. "He is a great prospect for the future and he has got a great career ahead of him." Heskey added: "You've got to bide your time but when you get an opportunity, take it, and Nathan knows that himself. He knows what he is capable of doing."
