Heineken, the world's third largest brewer, has agreed a new three-year sponsorship deal with UEFA to sponsor the Champions League.

The beer brand's new agreement was announced on Friday, a day before Manchester United takes on Barcelona in the final at Wembley Stadium in London.

Heineken, which has sponsored Europe's top club football competition for six years, also backs the Rugby World Cup, which takes place later this year in New Zealand.
