Sky Sports understands Blackpool are closing in on the signing of former Notts County captain Neal Bishop.

Bishop is available on a free transfer after cancelling his contract at Meadow Lane by mutal consent earlier this week.

Blackpool have moved quickly to try and bring the midfielder to Bloomfield Road as Paul Ince looks to bolster his squad.

Ince is a big fan of Bishop having worked with the 31-year-old during his time in charge of Notts County.

Bishop is believed to have flown out to Portugal to link-up with Blackpool for their week-long training camp as he gets set for talks over a move to the Seasiders.

Ince is determined to bring in some new faces after losing a number of stars this summer and is hoping to push through a deal for Bishop as soon as possible.

The duo will sign two-year deals ahead of the club's first season in the Championship following promotion via the play-offs last month.

Foley joined the Glovers from Newport last summer and made 41 appearances, scoring five goals.

Dawson signed for the Somerset club in January after his contract at Shelbourne expired. He made his debut as a substitute in a Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat to Leyton Orient.

Dawson went on to make 20 appearances last season, scoring a vital goal against Sheffield United in the play-off semi-final to help Yeovil on their way to Wembley, where they would go on to gain promotion against Brentford.

The 19-year-old striker, who signed a new one-year deal at the end of last season, has agreed a temporary switch to the third division side and will fly out to Norway once the relevant paperwork has been completed.

He told Chesterfield's official website: "I'm buzzing about the move. It'll be a new experience for me and I can't wait to go there."

Hazel, who had spells on loan at Matlock Town and Workington last season, travelled to Norway last month to discuss a move to Moss.

Sprint-Jeloy head coach Gard H Kristiansen is looking forward to working with the young player, saying: "Feedback on him is very good and we are very happy that this has worked out."
