Kranjcar has barely featured this season with just one Premier League start to his name. Gareth Bale's emergence as one of the Premier League's most potent wingers has left Kranjcar kicking his heels on the sidelines. That has led to speculation over the Croatia international's future, but Redknapp insists the 26-year-old remains part of his plans. "I wouldn't want Niko to go. He's been so unlucky," Redknapp told Sky Sports News. "Niko came in last year and he was one of the signings of the season. "Gareth (Bale) was playing left-back at the time. Gareth is playing forward now more and Niko's just not been able to get in the team. He's a top player and a top boy as well. "He's not the type you'd want to lose because you couldn't replace people like that easily. He's a class act. He will get back in, he will get his chances to play. "We've got a tough second half of the season so we're going to need our best players and he's one of those. I would love to keep him here." Meanwhile, Redknapp has reiterated that Bentley needs to leave the club in order to get his career back on track. "David wants to go out on loan or more permanently or whatever," he continued. "He's had a long spell without playing. "He's a great talent in my opinion. It's hard for him. He needs to play football. He wants to play. "When you watch him work every day, technically he's top drawer. He's been unlucky. "Aaron Lennon has done great on that side and he's not been able to play. "I think David is a lad who is out of the side and finds it hard to motivate himself some mornings because he wants to play. "He needs to get out and play somewhere for his own career. It's a waste of his talent that he's not playing. "Robbie (Keane) is the same. He needs to play. He can play at the top level. A loan wouldn't be an option for Robbie now, it would need to be a permanent move."
