Hamilton are without suspended defenders Martin Canning and Mark McLaughlin but Simon Mensing and Dougie Imrie are both available again after serving their own bans. Mark Carrington is available again after injury but Jon Routledge, Marco Paixao and James Gibson are all out with knee injuries. Rangers are boosted by the news that Lee McCulloch is back in training. It was initially feared the midfielder's season was over with a knee injury but, if not involved against the Accies, he could make his comeback midweek if he does not suffer any reaction. Madjid Bougherra (hamstring), Vladimir Weiss (foot) and Kirk Broadfoot (Achilles) are all still sidelined.
