Greek outfit Larissa are reportedly trying to steal a march on QPR by swooping to sign out-of-favour Hull striker Daniel Cousin.

Cousin is expected to leave Hull during this month's transfer window as the Tigers look to reduce their wage bill and trim the squad.

Queens Park Rangers had lined up a deal for Cousin, but Paul Hart's shock departure at Loftus Road could cast doubt over the move

. Larissa are now ready to offer the former Rangers hitman the chance to swap Hull for Greece.

Cousin is currently away with Gabon at the Africa Cup of Nations and he enhanced his chances of a move away to any interested clubs with the winner in the shock victory over Cameroon earlier this week.
