France midfielder Yoann Gourcuff says the team will not be drawn into a physical battle when it faces Ireland in the first leg of the World Cup playoffs on Saturday.
The French are expecting the Irish to try to turn the match at Dublin's Croke Park into a gritty contest and pressure France on free kicks and corners.
