Giggs won't rule out Wales return
Veteran Manchester United star Ryan Giggs has sensationally opened the door to a possible return to international football with Wales.
The former Welsh captain quit playing for his country in 2007, after playing over 60 games in a career spanning 16-years.
He made the decision in order to prolong his club career and it seems to have worked for the 36-year-old, who was voted PFA Player of the Year in 2009.
But now Giggs has confirmed that he would be 'open' to the idea of playing for Wales again. "It's something I would have to talk about with John Toshack and Sir Alex Ferguson," Giggs told the Western Mail.
"But at this stage I wouldn't dismiss the idea. If I had the call I would have to think hard about it. I wouldn't rule it out."
It is understood that the long-term injury to Arsenal starlet Aaron Ramsey has led to Giggs' rethink, and which could see him return to the international scene and partake in Wales' Euro 2012 qualifying campaign - where they will face England, amongst others.
Ramsey seriously broke his leg earlier this year and is unlikely to play again this year, meaning he will miss at least three of Wales' qualifiers.
