Ghana's fraud and organized crime unit has raided the headquarters of the country's national football federation, preventing its officials from entering the workplace and taking away eight computers.
The raid by the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) took place Tuesday.
Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi denies claims the GFA had failed to report to the EOCO, saying his organization had responded in writing to some information requested.
Nyantakyi says the GFA will go to court to determine the EOCO's authority to investigate its affairs, adding that the raid ''raises a lot of legal issues.''

Last week, FIFA threatened to ban Ghana if the government continued to interfere with the running of the GFA.
