Germany vs. England looms again at World Cup

Another Germany vs. England confrontation looms at the World Cup and that will bring back memories of classic moments that include a disputed goal in the final, the English losing a 2-0 lead, and a dramatic penalty shootout win for the Germans.

The two teams meet in the last 16 on Sunday and could well write another chapter in one of World Cup football's most famous rivalries.

England won the 1966 final 4-2 helped by a disputed goal the Germans say never crossed the line. The Germans came from two goals down to beat defending champion England in the 1970 quarterfinals and won a shootout in the 1990 semifinals.
