The German second-division club Karlsruhe has signed Luis Robles , giving the American goalkeeper Luis Robles a two-year contract.
Karlsruhe said late Sunday that Robles, who was at Kaiserslautern last season, had joined but gave no further details of the transfer.
The 26-year-old Robles, who is from Arizona, has played 21 matches in Germany's second division. He said he developed a good impression of Karlsruhe after spending a few days training with the club.
He has made one appearance for the U.S. national team, against Haiti in last year's CONCACAF Gold Cup.
