Gareth Bale injured, out of Champions League match

Real Madrid star Gareth Bale is injured again and has been ruled out of coach Carlo Ancelotti's squad to face FC Copenhagen in the Champions League on Wednesday.

In a statement late Tuesday, Madrid said Bale has not trained with his teammates ''because of a sore left hamstring'' and that he would undergo tests on Wednesday.

Bale, the world's most expensive footballer, cost Madrid 100 million euros ($132 million).

The Welshman previously injured his leg during the warm-up for a Spanish league match against Getafe on Sept. 22 and missed the game.
