William Gallas has completed his move to Tottenham on a one-year deal, two months after leaving Spurs' fierce north London rival Arsenal.
The France international joined Sunday on a free transfer and will provide cover for the injury-prone Ledley King and Jonathan Woodgate in central defense.
Gallas won two Premier League titles with Chelsea before spending four years at Arsenal. He left the Gunners when his contract expired at the end of last season.
The 33-year-old Gallas is the only the sixth player to join Spurs after also playing for Arsenal.
