Galaxy top Cartagines to wrap up quarterfinal spot

Jack McBean, Chandler Hoffman and Laurent Courtois scored in the first half and the Los Angeles Galaxy beat Cartagines 3-0 on Wednesday night to wrap up a quarterfinal spot in the CONCACAF Champions League.

Los Angeles is 3-0 in Group 8 play with one game left. Cartagines is 1-2-1.

McBean scored in the sixth minute, Hoffman in the 18th and Courtois in the 29th.
