Fulop was recruited from Ipswich on a 12-month deal and made his debut on Sunday as a second-half substitute in the 1-1 draw against Parma. Foster has been installed as the first choice goalkeeper at The Hawthorns by Roy Hodgson but Fulop sees no reason why he cannot provide his team-mate with some friendly competition. "I know Ben Foster is the number one at the club and I came here to help the team and to help us achieve a great season," the 28-year-old told the club's official website. "If I get the opportunity, I want to take it, but I also want to support Ben, and help him play really well for this club. "It's never nice to be on the bench but when I came to West Brom I knew that Ben would start the season. "I know he is a very good goalkeeper and I accepted that - but I still want to push him for a first-team place and hopefully that will help him as well. "I came here to prove to everybody that I am ready and I can play games if needed."
