French Cup: Chambery upsets Sochaux

Fifth-division team Chambery won its third consecutive French Cup match over a topflight club on Wednesday, rallying to knock out Sochaux 2-1 to reach the quarterfinals.

Nigeria striker Brown Ideye headed home the opener for Sochaux in the 21st minute.

Fabien Tissot-Rosset leveled with a volley from a free kick in the 61st, before Aissa Yahia Bey surprised goalkeeper Pierrick Cross with a 30-meter strike.

Chambery beat Monaco and Brest in the previous rounds.

France striker Guillaume Hoarau scored a hat trick as holder Paris Saint-Germain downed fourth-division side Martigues 4-1.

Martigues played with 10 men for 70 minutes after Boubacar Dembele was sent off for fouling Clement Chantome.

Peguy Luyindula scored PSG's other goal.
