Freiburg says it has signed Mali striker Garra Dembele from Bulgarian side Levski Sofia.
Dembele scored 34 goals in 36 games for Levski last season.
Freiburg director Dirk Dufner says Dembele will be a ''great reinforcement for our attack.''
Freiburg also features Senegal striker Papiss Demba Cisse, who was the Bundesliga's second best scorer with 22 last season. Cisse is reportedly the target of foreign clubs but Freiburg says it has not received an official offer.
