COPENHAGEN, Denmark --

Former Denmark player Morten Bruun says someone burgled his home and stole his 1992 European Championship winner's medal while he was covering Denmark's friendly against Iceland as a TV commentator.

Bruun on Friday appealed to the thief on Twitter to give it back.

''To you who broke into my house, while I was commenting the match: Would you return my Euro 1992 medal? You know the address,'' Bruun wrote.

He was a substitute in the Denmark team that won Euro 1992 in Sweden.

He is a football commentator for Danish TV station Kanal 6.

Denmark won Thursday's friendly 2-1.
