Atletico Madrid striker Diego Forlan would like to see out his career with the Spanish league club and even play for Uruguay at the 2014 World Cup.

Forlan - voted best player at this year's World Cup - says he's ''not on the market'' despite reports he could be on the move.

The 31-year-old Forlan believes he can realistically play until age 36 or 37 and finish his career in Europe, where ''I'd like to retire with Atletico.''

He doesn't see himself playing out his final years in Argentina or Uruguay, telling a Marca forum: ''I don't want to return unless I'm in good condition ... that would be a betrayal to the club and its fans.''
