The result was not enough to lift Wolves out of the bottom three, but helped to provide the team with a boost after recent performances were not rewarded with points. Foley, who opened the scoring against Sunderland, dedicated the win to McCarthy and praised the way in which the manager has tried to alter Wolves' style of play this season. Responsibility "It's not fair his job has been under scrutiny," said Foley. "None of the lads can question the boss, it's not just him, it's us. We must take responsibility. "If you look at the points, we've not got that many less than last year, but we've being playing better football, a better brand of football this season. "The fans appreciate it and it's about trying to do things the right way, the footballing way. "I'm just glad we won for the manager and the players. He's done so well for us, you know what you get with him and yes, that win was as much for him as much as anyone else. "When there's 10 minutes to go and you're 2-1 down you think 'here we go again', but credit to everyone we got it going."
